Or I’m not wasting my time chasing won rabbit holes on the web, really. So I’m in the office this morning, working on my audio/video presentation that I’ll be doing for the folks here at Shelton State and for the Program for Online Teaching. I remember Lisa wrote something last month about having trouble posting video that was compatible with iOS devices, and I notice this link to create a javascript version of slideshare. “That’s interesting,” I think to myself, “I wonder what’s at the main site?” It turns out that it belongs to a developer for Mozilla and has links to a presentation he gave last week about video on the web. Perfect! Now I’m going to look much smarter (and more up to date!) tomorrow than I otherwise would have. Not only that, but his talk has links to a couple of online tools for editing HTML5 video and subtitling video. Excellent. I’ll play with those for awhile this morning, and by this afternoon, I think I might just have something useful to share tomorrow.
